About Me

The thing about me is that I take the word eclectic to a whole new level. I am a wife and mother first of all. (And you know what that means, housework, laundry cooking and all of that stuff.) I dote on my kitty Fuzz way too much.  I also have a pet turtle named Slowpoke and a white schnauzer named Muffie.  All of my pets were rescued.

My professions these days include writer, publisher, speaker, and of course, podcaster! I am a retired hairdresser and former homeschooling mom. (Homeschooled two boys k-12.) My publishing company is Little Light Press. We publish the curriculum for new Christian children, Answers For New Christians. Answers For New Christians is a combination coloring book, workbook, storybook and keepsake for kids ages 8-12. My new picture book which is coming out in February is Baby Bic Gets Baptized.

I’ve finally figured out (mostly) the secret of integrating my faith and passion for God into my daily life. So, you never know what I’m going to be doing day to day. Housework, gardening, reading, studying, computing, working on a children’s book or a podcast or blog. That’s what I do! Soli deo gloria. (To God be the glory.)
